May Newsletter: We Need YOUR Help!

“Don’t be pushed around by the fears in your mind. Be lead by the dreams in your heart.” -Roy T. Bennett-

Hey Friends,

We are busy preparing for the June mission trip. I will be taking a small team to help teach to our expectant and new mamas. We will also be participating in kindergarten graduation, level 1 adult education (reading, writing, math) graduation and the 5 year anniversary celebration. We are excited to celebrate with the families in Dèsarmes, Haiti!

We still have many women that need sponsorship for the midwifery care program. Please consider partnering with us. A one-time amount of $110 helps cover the expense of providing prenatal, delivery and postnatal care. To partner, please click here, and select “sponsor a mama”.

In addition to needing mamas sponsored, we are in need of midwifery care supplies and items for the 5 year anniversary celebration. We would greatly appreciate any donations. Items can be ordered on Amazon and directly shipped to me.

Our board of directors and committee have been busy planning and preparing fo the Caribbean Gala on July 18th in Winona Lake, Indiana. Tickets are available for purchase. We would love for you to join us and help raise money for the future birth center and guest house.

With gratitude,

Ashley Stills, BOLH Founder/Director

We are sad to have our intern, Jessica VanderBoom, finish her internship, but know God is leading her towards new and exciting opportunities. Please take a few minutes to read her last blog post, “A Path God Paves”.
